As Nate pondered over the strange candies, he spotted his dad, Nate, walking towards him. "Hey kiddo." said Nate with a kind smile. "What did you buy yourself this time?"
"Some candies the store clerk gave me, free of charge." replied Tom with a shrug. "There was a note inside, stated they were wishing candies."
Nate's face turned slightly pale but he recovered quickly as he smiled. "Everything has a price, son, be very careful what you wish for." he said, maintaining his smile.
Tom nodded then looked at the candies curious. "I wonder if they actually work." he thought. "Only one way to find out, I guess." he then turned back to Nate. "Hey dad, what would you call a harmless wish?"
Nate sighed. "One that doesn't harm others." he replied. "I know you have a good heart, Tom. You will know what to do."
With that, he continued walking down the side walk to continue his afternoon exercise. As he disappeared around the corner, Tom let out a sigh of his own. "Something tells me dad knows than he's saying." he whispered.
