"It's settled then," Andy said, seeming pleased with himself. "We'll all become girls and see how we're treated differently. Perfect, eh? Unless one of you have a better idea?"
A few moments pass, and no one has an alternative. "So we're really doing this..." you say glumly.
"Sound like it!" Andy says with apparent excitement. "Let's all meet in the mall after class so Robin's sister can make us up."
When your group informed your teacher of the project, she seems amused and promises that she can arrange for your group to have girl's uniform. Later, after school, you phone your parents to tell them you'll be late (you didn't know how to explain your little 'project' to them yet,) and make your way to the mall. There, standing outside the salon are Andy and two other boys from your group.
"Where's Robin?" you ask.
"Inside," Andy replies. In a about twenty more minutes, Robin comes out looking very different. His red hair was styled with extensions, his eyelashes were longer, eyebrows thinner, his lips looked fuller and redder, and his skin seemed smooth and hairless.
"You look like a girl!" The other boys, Tom and Harry say with a laugh. Robin just glares at them.
"Yeah, well, you're next." Robin gives the two boys an evil grin as they walk into the salon. Twenty minutes pass and they return, made up just like girls. Harry looks like he could pass with the proper clothes, but Tom looks like a bad Drag Queen.
"It's you two next..." Harry says with a sigh, before Andy hops off his seat and steps in
"C'mon, what are ya watin' for Tony?" Andy calls to you as you reluctantly follow him in to a room filled with pink. You see two chairs cleared for you, and a tall redhead, Robin's sister, gestures for you to take a seat.
"So you two are four and five, right?" Robin's sister, whose name tag reads Rebecca, asks. "Can't say I understand you boys wanting to do this, but that's your choice." She gestures to he coworker, who begins shaving Andy while Rebecca does the same to you.
Over the next twenty minutes, your face is shaved, followed by your legs (which requires you to take off your pants, much to your embarrassment,) then makeup is applied to your skin to hide your beard shadow, followed by mascara to make eyes look bigger, your brows are trimmed, and your lips are painted with lipstick. Finally, she applies hair extensions and styles them into wavy curls. When she turns your chair so you can see yourself in the mirror, you are amazed to see yourself as a pretty brunette. You look over to Andy to find he now looks like a gorgeous blonde.
"Well, that's the best I can do," Rebecca says, "I'd suggest getting some clothes, though, if you really want to complete the look."
"Good idea!" Andy exclaims, taking your hand. "Let's go clothes shopping, Tony!"
"You're getting way too into this, man..."
Andy shakes his head. "I'm just committing to the role is all."
"Fine," you reply, "but let go of my hand!"
"Relax," he says as he leads you out of the salon, still holding your hand, "girls hold hands all the time. Now let's go!"
