Rosie decided to dive for the couch and wait for a safer time to approach her friends when they wern't talking and stumbling around. From her dusty hiding place she watched as Sarah came in and put two cases of beer down by the kitchen entrance and go sit down where Rosie had been. She gulped deeply when Rosie realized she would have been smushed under her friends rear end if she stayed over there on the chair.
Then, something else caught Rosie's attention. A tiny guy was running across the floor! She looked on curiously and realized it looked like the guy who delivered the newspaper on this street. He was around their age, early twenties or so with a thin build and brown hair.
He seemd pretty determined as he ran up to Lilith and Alina. Rosie was quite surprised when Lilith looked down at him and didn't react like he was out of place.
"Oh Alina, there's another one of them. I think it's your turn to take care of this one," Lilith calmly said as she went back to her beer and chatting with Jo.
Meanwhile Alina had turned her attention down to the tiny guy on the floor. He wasn't running away, probably because he expected help, they usually did. She couldn't really reconize him from so high above and she wasn't sure if she really cared. Mostly Lilith and her had been stepping on them barefoot. Her sister Lilith already made videos of her feet online, and Alina saw this as a way to get involved too. No one online would suspect the tiny people were real and she was enjoying it so far. There was something exciting about feeling their tiny bodies squirming under her foot.
Sliding off her sandals Alina put her hands on her hips and looked down at the small figure, "You'd figure you'd leave us alone after everything that's happened. Maybe you want to get stepped on huh? Been eyeing my pretty bare feet little man? I'd love to feel you squish under them, but maybe after I play around with you for a bit first."
Rosie had no idea what was going on now. Was she part of some sort of twisted game her friends were playing? She didn't want to get stepped on. Especially not by her friends, she trusted her friends! Whatever was going on she watched curiously to see exactly what Alina had in mind.
"Okay, run forward and hug my foot if you like them. Otherwise I may just get bored and end up smushing you right here. After all, if you're not interested in playing games and you're running up to us, you must just wanna get stepped on," Alina teased.
To her surprise, Rosie watched as the tiny guy ran foward and hugged one of Alina's toes. She laughed loudly and smiled to Lilith who returned a grin.
"I think we've got a keeper here," Alina explained, "Or at least until I get bored of him."
"Have fun but don't wander off too long, this is your party after all," Lilith told her sister.
