Alina grinned down at the tiny guy and looked up, "Hey Sarah! Comon over here for a moment!"
Looking over from the window Sarah tilted her head. She realized she hadn't even wished the birthday girl well or anything. The girl with red streaks in her hair wandered over quickly with a bounce in her step and came to a stop just in front of the tiny guy she didn't even see on the floor. Like most of the other girls she had sandals on that the guy was now almost face to face with after letting go of Alina's toe and settling back down on the floor.
"Hey! Happy Birthday Alina! I'm so sorry I didn't say anything sooner. I just, thought Rosie was supposed to be here by now," Sarah explained giving her friend a big hug.
That gave Alina a moment to pause. Rosie was here. "She was around just a moment ago. I'm sure she'll be back soon. Hey, wanna do me a favour?"
Sarah smiled and looked excited, "Yeah sure Alina, it's your special day after all. What did you have in mind?" She casually brushed her hair back over one ear.
Grinning down towards the ground Alina said, "See that down there? I want you to take off your sandals and put your foot on it."
Looking down curiously Sarah noticed the tiny guy at her feet, "Whoa! What in the world IS that?" She stumbled back away from him. That even caused Lilith to look over for a moment and laugh.
"You havn't heard eh?" Lilith explained, "We've had these tiny people showing up around our place. They look like people in the neibourhood. We've got no way of helping them so we've been treating them like pests."
Meanwhile Sarah was already down on her hands and knees poking at the tiny guy with her massive fingers with dark red nail polish, "You've been stepping on them? But, they're people! Or at least they really look like people."
"There's been way too many," Alina explained, "So much so we've made a game out of this kind of stuff. It's gotten really bad. Otherwise we just don't know what else to do. If we told anyone we'd probably end up kicked out of our house and they'd want to investigate."
Sarah looked up, brushing her hair back again and staring at Alina apologetically, "I suppose so. But it seems so mean what you're doing. Can't feed them all and look after them if there's been that many."
"So what do you say, wanna try stepping on him?" Lilith encouraged down to Sarah.
