Naruto continued to massage Sakura's feet silently. He'd much rather be doing real training or eating ramen or heck even taking a nice long soak in a tub after kneeling all day, instead he was here doing training he thought was unnecessary. But looking up at Sakura's beautiful face, seeing how she had done a full 180, from trying to destroy him to trying to help him was nice.
After a bit Ino arrived and Sakura stood up and gave her friend a hug as well as a wink.
"Let me explain what is going on Ino, oh Naruto continue rubbing my feet while I chat with her."
"Sure Sakura-chan."
Ino listened to Sakura's explanation and like any good ninja she saw underneath. Sakura was blatantly abusing Naruto's friendship and it was pretty sadistic all things considered. Sakura was her best friend and if Naruto couldn't see what she was doing than that was his own fault for being a bad shinobi. Not to mention Ino had always had a little dominatrix in her and the idea of making Naruto lavish her feet with attention was very enticing.
"I see, so you want me to help Naruto avoid having to do something truly revolting. I'm not unsympathetic but you are asking me to take a lot of time out of my day to help out."
Naruto started to speak. "Ino if you don't..." Sakura shushed him by putting her foot on Naruto's lips.
"Hush now Naruto, I know Ino best I can convince her."
That wasn't what Naruto wanted! But he couldn't think of a graceful way to really interject with Sakura's foot still on his lips! Ino had to struggle not to laugh at the site of this.
"Naruto had done so much for the village, plus you could find some uses for him too. I'm sure Naruto would be very grateful if you were to help. You really wouldn't need to have him at your feet for more than 5-6 hours a day."
Five or six hours??? He was already at the Hokage tower for 6 hours straight and then if Sakura used him too... Naruto wasn't great at math but it almost sounded like Sakura wanted him to spend every waking moment training! Before he could even think about a good way to speak up Ino spoke again.
"Well in that case I suppose I could be convinced, but Naruto would have to agree to..."
