Chapter #7the ceremony begins by: Wolfer   The ceremony had just started and you stood at the front of the church nervously waiting for what was about to happen. You spotted Jackie in your boss’s body take a seat on your side of the pews, looking somewhat distracted. You wanted call all of this off and walk over to her and comfort her. But the music had already started.
After the parade of bridesmaids, Jackie... your boss in her body appeared at the end of the aisle. She is absolutely gorgeous. Her dress slinks in right way as it hugged her hips and held up her breasts. She femininely swayed side to side as she walked down the aisle with her Jackie's father. When she finally reached the base of the alter, you were frozen and speechless. You get managed to get a hold of yourself enough to shake her father's hand before turning to her. For a brief moment, your boss Shanice, wore Jackie's body well. So well that you weren't sure if they had found a way to switch back, but at a closer look, you could see your boss's subtle facial expressions on Jackie’s beautiful face… and you didn’t know how to react. Normally when she made these kind of faces at work, it was because something bad was about to happen. Frozen and unsure what to do, she nudged you toward the alter where the priest was waiting so the ceremony could begin.
Luckily, because of months of planning, you knew the ceremony inside and out. You were able to muddle your way through it while being distracted. When it came time for you both to say your vows, you stuttered a bit while trying to repeat the priest’s words. You could hear a few people in the audience chuckle. "If only they knew..." you thought
Once you repeated your vows, the priest finally said “I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.” You hesitated for a second. Even though the woman in front of you looked like your Jackie, you knew inside it was really your boss. Shanice saw your hesitation and ended up kissed you. Everyone cheered and applauded as they watched the newlyweds kiss for the first time as husband and wife.
Shanice looked like she was kissing you passionately, but in fact felt nothing like how Jackie kissed you. You didn't have time to dwell on it as friends and family members swept down the aisle and ushered you and "Jackie" into a limo that was heading to the your reception.
You and your boss sat awkwardly in the limo in silence. Eventually, Shanice broke the silence and asked "Duncan... Gerald, did I play the part well enough?"
"I hope so." you answered
When you got to your destination, you stepped out of the limo and made your way inside to greet everyone. For a few minutes, everything felt somewhat normal again when suddenly the real Jackie pulled you aside to talk in private. Jackie lead you out onto a balcony where you could talk in private.
“Thank goodness the ceremony is over Gerry. You and Shanice did a good job acting. I know it had to be hard pretending to marry someone else that looks like me. I personally thought it was kinda of neat being able to watch my own wedding. I got to enjoy seeing all our hard work and planning come together.” she said.
You nod but felt slightly bewildered as you watched what looked like your boss act so out of character. You can’t help notice the facial features your boss… or rather Jackie has. Her eyes looked much whiter than normal as they contrasted with her chocolate colored skin, her nose was much wider and her lips were fuller. When she smiled, you could see a gap between her two front teeth.
Jackie looked around to make sure nobody was looking before lowering her voice and smirking mischievously. “Shanice and I managed to fake a family emergency to get her some time off from work. I also managed to book another room in the same hotel we're staying in so we can still have our honeymoon.”
“Honeymoon? What about getting back into your real body?” you asked. You weren't sure why Jackie didn't seem too concerned about finding a way to change back.
“We'll have plenty of time to figure that out. I'm not about to let this ruin our honeymoon” Jackie said as she leaned in to kiss you. Right as she’s about to kiss your lips, she turned and gave you a peck your cheek instead. Sighing in disappointment, she explained “We wouldn’t want anyone seeing the groom making out with his boss, would we?”
Jackie turned around and left you alone on the balcony. After a moment, you stepped back inside to rejoin the reception. Shanice looked beautiful in Jackie’s wedding dress. She was doing a good job at pretending to be Jackie. As you walked up, she smiled and took your arm.
The rest of the reception goes on without any issues. You danced with Shanice but avoided eye contact with her. Periodically, you looked around for Jackie but couldn't spot her. Your family and friends were sweet and heartfelt as they toasted to you and your new "wife". You mingled with a whirlwind of people from your life and Jackie’s and every time you heard glasses tinkling you were forced to kiss Shanice to appease the crowd. The reception dragged on as you pretended to be happy with a woman who sat pretended to be your wife.
At the end of the night, you and Shanice eagerly jumped into the limo. People probably thought that you two were probably eager to consummate your marriage, but you simply wanted to get away from them and cut the charade. Shanice already changed into a simpler dress and the two of you headed headed to the airport. You could tell she wasn't as thrilled about all of this as you, but the two of you really couldn't talk about it in private as you barely had enough time to make it through security and board the plane.
As you settled into your larger, first class seats, you both had some champagne. Shanice seemed to loosen up a little.
"I cant believe I got married... to a younger, white dude." Shanice said with a bit of a slur in Jackie's voice. You weren't sure why, but it seemed like Shanice was also getting more and more comfortable in her new body.
"You seem to be taking this well Ms. Jackson." you said in the same tone you normally would have at work.
She smiled and giggled in like she normally would have in the office. This was supposed to be one of the best days in your life and now you've technically just married your boss. She may look like Jackie, but her mannerisms and the way she carries herself is still Shanice Jackson. She's literally a middle aged black woman that had little in common with you. As you thought about your current situation more and more, a hand reached over onto your leg and startled you. As you looked over, Shanice's dainty hand met was resting on your thigh as the cabin lights went out.
"You know Duncan... I mean Gerald, you're kind cute for a white guy." Shanice said before giggling. This was a totally different side of your boss that you were seeing. You weren't sure if it was the alcohol or another effect of that orb. But you were positive that after today, you were going to have the worst case of blue balls.
