A winged girl (about 10)

"What the.....!!!!" screamed James as he saw his new reflection in the mirror. Or should we say "she" saw "her" new reflection. James didn't see a young 21-year old man in the mirror. Instead, what he saw was a petite young girl who looked around 10 years old. His/her hair was dark like Myrrh's, looking almost like a dark violet or something close to that. It was also now down to just past her shoulder blades in straight long locks. Her build was small and delicate with fair skin. Her face was youthful and cute for her age, if not a bit similar to Myrrh herself. She also saw that she was wearing an orange skirt with similar colored panties (or whatever they're called) underneath. On her back, pure white wings pertruded from her body, shimmering in the light.

However, one fact stood out to her: She was topless!

"Ahhh!" yelled James as she crossed her arms in front of her to try and cover her half-naked body. She must not be experiencing puberty yet as she was completely flat with no signs of adulthood on the horizon so to speak. Surprisingly to her, Myrrh softly giggled and came over to James, gently uncrossing her arms and exposing her chest again.

"Relax Tyra. It's fine" she said softly.

"T-Tyra?" asked James with confusion. Myrrh looked James straight in the eye.

"Your new name that I came up with. You're not human anymore and you're a girl now. You needed a new name" explained Myrrh. "Tyra" nodded in reply.

"So, why Tyra?" she asked.

"It means "Thor's daughter". Thor was the god of thunder and protector of innocent women, just like you did for me" explained Myrrh, a thankful smile on her face. Seeing her made Tyra smile as well.

"So, the randomness issue is why I'm 10 years old and a girl now?" asked Tyra. A nod from Myrrh answered her question. Then, she noticed how different their wings were. Tyra's were solid and bird-like, unlike the energy wings Myrrh possessed. However, Myrrh must have red her mind considering what she said next.

"You're wondering why your wings are different?" she asked, getting a surprised look from Tyra. "We are telepathic, so I can read your mind. Relax though, I won't do it often" she further explained, seeing the worried look on Tyra's face.

"So, no privacy?" asked Tyra with a smirk. This brought forth a little giggling from both girls.

"Maybe. Anyway, the reason why your wings are different is because you're a child. Misterians possess bird-like wings at birth and keep them through their teenage years. For males, theirs continue to become more muscular as they age. For girls, they start to glow unpon reaching puberty, which you haven't reached yet. Once you reach 17 years old, we have a Coming-of-Age ceremony where a females' wings beome energy from their bodies" explained Myrrh.

"Wow, that's quite a development" Tyra said simply, getting a nod from Myrhh.

"Anyway, I'm sure you don't want to be topless any longer so let's get you properly fitted so we can meet mother" said Myrrh, a little worry in her voice.

"Who's mother?" asked Tyra. Myrrh looked away from Tyra's face.

"My mother and your grandmother: Queen Minerva"
