Chapter #5

"I think I ought to be sensible about this ...

    by: Unknown
"I think I ought to be sensible about this and find my body - and that book." You say, even if that sexy voice that vibrates against your throat makes you want to do otherwise. Your eyes rise upward, tearing away from that beautiful cleavage, and you shut them for a second to turn yourself off, and then on again - this time with a more logical thought process.

You slowly make your way out of the alleyway, your feet slipping slightly - you're not wearing any special hard-to-walk-in-shoes or anything, there's no way this girl could afford anything like that, it's just how darn small your feet are and these new soft short legs just aren't made for walking.

"Maybe it's just a case of getting used ta' things, you know. Like riding a horse..." You mutter to yourself, pressing your soft hands against the stone wall to maintain balance.

It takes you a little while but you reach the rays of the daylight sun once more, escaping the cold shade of that uncomfortable little alleyway. You're a little more used to things now, and walking ain't so hard; your hips for some reason keep swaying when you do it though, like that's just what this body wants to do.

It's just a matter of following the moving crowd of people now, you think to yourself. Funny, your mind still seems to talk in your male voice - that's what it's familiar with, after all.

You have to push yourself between curious citizens to make any real distance, but it's ever so difficult with your weak little arms and your new height. You're like 5'4 now. And if anyone was to get scrappy, like these people did, you know, the ones who lived around this little area... Well, you didn't stand much a chance. Then again, who would get scrappy with a little elf chick like yourself?

After a good while of trying to fight it, you give in and let your hips sway as you move in and out of the crowd. You feel eyes gravitate toward you, especially your rear and your bust - and as you see your body laying on the bench still, being tended to by some people who look like mages, there's a hand that lands right on your ass from someone you can't see.

A yelp escapes your lips and you feel like beating the ever-living shit out of who did it, but they've vanished into the crowd and you've only just made it to your body - you wouldn't wan't to get thrown into the lake or something, or worse.

There's a knight who seems to be coming toward you to push you back into the crowd and away from the scene, so you'll have to act fast - your mind decides that running and grabbing the book may be the best idea here. It's then when you notice some grubby looking guy in some unclean clothes sneakily grab the book from beneath the bench - and he's about to dissolve back into the crowd!

Quickly, you...

You have the following choices:

1. Chase after him into the crowd.

*Noteb*
2. Run over and try to explain your situation to a mage.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
