It sucked being a change-room attendant. Unfortunately, it was the only position that was available when I applied. At least I was still able to get a discount on my purchases.

I had struck up a good relationship with my manager and had been working hard to present a good example so I could be promoted or transferred to another department. This meant that I had to avoid complaints. Normally customers were easy to handle, but there were some bad days.
