This choice: Other (Reserved for: Ignorance) • Go Back...Chapter #3Other (Reserved for: Ignorance) by: Unknown For so long, I'd read fantasy book, played video games, watched TV shows... Every time, secretly hoping that one day, I would find proof that magic exists. For 15 years, I waited and hoped, constantly seeking for the supernatural, but 3 years ago, today... I finally found it, though I had no idea at the time.
It was the beginning of autumn, the end of summer break, and after yet another move, I found myself having to adjust to yet another new environment. New people... New places... New school...
I'd been through it several times before, so I'd grown used to it, but also tired of it. My parents, that morning told me they'd finally gotten me signed up for a new school, but it was a private school with a dorm. This excited me, as I had never lived in a dorm before and I was eager to try something new. The catch to this was, I'd have to leave that afternoon to move into the dorm. Fortunately, most of my stuff was still in boxes, so it didn't take much to get everything ready. They had spoken with the staff at the school and it was agreed I would take just a few suitcases with me at first and the rest would be shipped later.
The bus stop I was supposed to wait at, was a bit far, but I didn't have to wait long before it arrived. I deposited my things in the bus' storage compartment and hopped on. I thought it odd that I was the only one on, and the bus driver gave me some weird vibes, but I didn't care overly much. The trip was a little long and it was just after entering a tunnel that I noticed something was off. I was looking out the window and noticed that, instead of pitch black, as I'd expected, I saw a view similar to the warp tunnels in various movies. It freaked me out, but it excited me in a way.
I had finally found the magic I'd been searching so long for. I watched in awe for what seemed like forever before the view changed and I saw a haunted looking forest. The bus driver bid me farewell with an odd grin once I had pulled everything out.
The forest seemed to go on for quite a ways, but the school building was clearly visible, even from where I stood. So I started forward, eager to see what else awaited me in this new life. However, my journey was brought to a quick halt when... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
