She decides Eric is the best chose for some tes...

Whitney crept towards Eric's room with trepidation. Would this thing work or would she be making a fool of herself? She knocked gently on the door, "Come in." Eric said clearly he was engrossed in something.

"Hey bro, I found something interesting." Whitney came into the room to see Eric playing WoW on his computer, leveling up a toon of his. He turned away to see Whitney holding the necklace, not sure at first what was suppose to be so interesting about it. Then he saw the pendant at the center which seemed to sparkle in perfect rhythm with the world around it. Whitney saw that Eric breathing was slowing just looking at the necklace so she began to swing it slightly. This in turn had a very immediate effect as the normal tension in his face left and his eyes became glassy. It had worked the necklace had placed him into a trance.

But now what, would she alter him in some way or just wake him up to be sure the necklace had caused no damage. Any change she would make should be small but clearly noticeable. Then a startling thought hit her all at once, why not make him smarter, give him her photographic memory. It would be noticeable and yet still a good thing. Then again even though this was quite interesting the scientist in her knew she should create a control experiment and do nothing to him this time.
