"Alright wake up." Eric slowly regained consciousness. "How do you feel, Eric?" Eric looked around and noticed everything in a slightly different light than before.
"I don't know, everything seems different."
Whitney held up the last book she read and handed it to Eric. "Try reading this." Eric looked at the book slightly dazed still, he flipped it open and began to read. Somehow he was reading much faster than before, and his comprehension of what he was reading was far greater than before.
After reading a chapter in a couple of minutes Eric looked up to Whitney. "How am I doing this?"
"It's this necklace it can give people commands that cause their body and mind to actually change!"
"So you made me smarter? Why?"
"So you could help me with this new research, and well I get kinda lonely being this smart..." Eric noticed something else, he wasn't just smarter, but he also liked the way Whitney was dressed, and he wanted to dress that way too. Fearing she would try to undo the portion of the programming he kept it to himself.
"Of course I'll help you, let me catch up on these books, I'll come find you when I'm done."
