Chapter #4

Attempting to communicate.

With your mind spinning you barely register the stilted conversation between Cameron and Ashley outside, one where Cameron rather nervously agrees to take another look at 'the snake'.

You notice the smell at first and glance up as Cameron comes in. OK, you can cope with this! Tasty she may be, but you aren't a monster! You are not going to eat her! Despite how mouth-wateringly delicious she'd be. No, don't go there!

While you were struggling with your inner hunger Cameron moved slowly towards you and stops a foot away from the bed. She paces left to right, trying to see all of your coiled up body while you finally manage to control yourself.

OK, you can't talk, but at least you could write couldn't you? Wait, what could you write with?

Then you notice the glass by your bedside table. Oh, that could work!

You manage, a little awkwardly, to grab the glass with your tail and lift it. You even manage not to crush it. As Cameron stops and stares at what you're doing you toss the contents against the window, which is now covered in milk.

Smiling you put the glass down and lift your tail to the milk covered window to write in it.
