After begining to eat her first meal in the last several days, the Hokage's guard was called into a backroom by an unfamiliar voice. As soon as he slipped out of sight, Tsunade immediately slammed her fists into the bars surrounding her with all the force she could muster; only to see that the bars had not only wistood her blows, but that her attempt had only succeeded in causing her hands to bleed.
"DAMMIT!" the sannin cursed as she readied another blow. Same results as last time. This was getting her nowhere. Someone must have placed a seal somewhere on the cell that had the same chakra draining effects that it's creators possessed. She just couldn't back her punches up with enough energy to escape.
Tsunade was left to fume in her cell for almost an hour, before the same guard from earlier returned to the room she was currently stuck in.
"The Debukage wishes to see you now," The fat ninja said as he slid a key into the cell's built-in lock. "Don't try anything funny, or you'll be torn to shreds."
The 5th shot the purple clad ninja infront of her a death glare, but quickly realized that it would be more prudent to go along with what they said until she could lay eyes on this so called "Debukage". That way, she could eliminate the renegade village's leader before they became any more of a headache for her.
Tsunade was led down a series of winding passageways. Judging from the complete lack of windows, the Lady of Konoha assumed that she was currently underground somewhere. After about ten agonizing minutes of wanting to break her smug captor's face in two, they finally arrived at a much larger door that had various large animals intricately carved into the woodwork. The guard knocked twice, and the door began to slowly open, revealing a level of wealth and oppulance normally reserved for the most powerful of feudal lords. The entire room had been covered in wood panelling of various kinds; and in each of the far corners of the room, there sat an enormous jade statue of an elephant. Alongside the walls, someone had put int the effort to dig two rather large koi ponds, complete with a surrounding of rocks and local plantlife that was somehow able to be maintained in this underground lair.
None of these impressive things however were what caught Tsunade's attention. What Tsunade was starring at now was the massive woman sitting dead center in the room surrounded by an honor guard of four fat ninja - two male and two female- wearing various animal masks. The large woman motioned for the escorting guard to leave them, before turning to match the sanin's gaze.
"Greetings, my Lady," The sitting woman, who had to atleast be about 400 pounds and looked to be in her late 20's said in a cordial tone. "I appologize that we had to meet under thse conditions, but it seems that there was no other way; as none of our letters or messenger hawks were ever answered."
"that's because your little gang here isn't a real ninja village!" Tsunade yelled as she made a bee-line for the mountain of flesh infront of her.
A chubby kunoichi wearing a boar mask quickly made a series of hand gestures, before slamming her palm into the wood flooring.
"Ninja Art! Demon's Tongue!" the masked ninja yelled as a purple tendril suddenly shot out of the ground and wrapped itself around the charging sannin, stopping her dead in her tracks.
"Thank you, Kasumi," The Debukage nodded to her subordinate, before returning her attention to her whould-be attacker. "Now, now, there is no need for violence here. Although you do have a point- we are not officially recognised as a ninja village by the council of feudal lords. However, if we could prove ourselves to be stronger than our neighbors, I'm sure that they'd begin turning to us whenever they needed someone to do their dirty work."
"And how -ungh!- do you plan on doing that?" The 5th Hokage said as she struggled against the fleshy mass constricting her.
"By going to war, obviously!" The Debukage said with a shrug of her massive shoulders. "If we can conquer one of the minor villages huddling around the Land of Fire, then we're sure to gain recognition."
The obese leader nodded, and the tendril attempting to crush Tsunade began to relax it's grip slightly.
"That's why we needed to get in contact with you so badly, Lady Tsunade, if we can win the backing of one of the major villages, then there would be no way any of the smaller villages could oppose us. What I propose is an alliance between your village and mine in a war against the minor nations. In return for your military and financial support, we would be willing to teach up to a dozen of your top ninja our special techniques, and any land that we aquire may be claimed by you- afterall, we're not in it for territory, we only want prestiege."
"So, my lady," the Debukage said as a toothy smile began to spread across her face. "What do you say?"
