As Derek and Celes walked through the forest she took the time to explain some things about faeries to him, "You see, faeries live in small towns, usually with no more than thirty faeries or so. These town's can't really feed any more than that, so young faerie girls explore the world in groups, a lot of them don't end up coming back so it helps keep the town from starving, my group only set out a few days ago," Celes told him, flashing a smile at him. "So how many of you are there?" He asked, "Well, including me there is six of us, so me, Emelia, Moril, Desilia, Lissel, and Risia." Derek supposed he was going to meet them soon, that would be interesting, "So there's no male faeries?" She reddened up a little and looked away from him, "Male faeries are very rare, and are needed so they stay in the villages to procreate with the faerie girls who have already journeyed."
That made sense, and it would explain why no one ever talked of male faeries. As Celes continued to prattle on about the others Derek faded in and out of the conversation, hearing tidbits about the other faeries. Apparently Emelia was a brunette faerie who was fond of pranks, Celes was apparently jealous of her large breasts. She kept her brown hair shoulder length and curled about her shoulders complimenting her pretty green eyes. Moril was older than the others, though she was very timid, her long blue hair flowed down her back and chest and her blue eyes were ever nervous. Desilia and Lissel were twin sisters, apparently ever eager to help out, they both had red hair, Lissel keeping hers long and and Desillia keeping hers at medium length so as to have a way to help others tell them apart. They had a dusting of freckles on their faces and mischievous blue eyes. Risia however was apparently the youngest of the group, she had silky long green hair, but her age showed in her small breasts and somewhat childish face. From what Celes said, the group was very protective of her. She kept going on about how great it would be once they met him, but he was beginning to grow bored with the whole ordeal and just wanted to get out of this damn forest, he was starving. "Just through this clearing," She told Derek as she led him in and shouted.
Singsong voices rang out and five more faeries fluttered out of the surrounding trees. "What's this human doing here Celes?" One called out, Derek could tell it was Emelia, remembering her description, she was very pretty. "I found him in the woods, he's confused and doesn't know where he is, I've offered him our help." Derek heard several of them gasp, "Help a human? That's dangerous Celes," That voice had to be from Moril, and turning his head he confirmed it, she shrunk away from his gaze. "Derek, I must talk with them, please wait here," With that, she promptly flew towards the others and they convened on the other side of the meadow, they chattered for what seemed like an hour but eventually they came back. "They have agreed to let me help you out of the forest, but we will have to cross the Henk Bogs to get out, they aren't willing to risk it." Derek had no idea what she was talking about, "Henk Bogs? What the hell are those?" The other's flinched but Celes answered, "They are a dangerous marsh, full of hideous and terrible things, we will have to be careful and once I am done helping you, I will return here where the others will be waiting." Derek agreed and the others set about bidding Celes farewell and giving Derek scalding looks for bringing her into danger. However as they talked your stomach started growling again, you really were very hungry.
