Cynder waved her clawed hands, trying to brush the cloud away. She tried again to ask Spyro to stop but her voice caught in her throat and she found herself unable to speak.
A strong heat began to build in her bones and then spread out into her muscles. Her whole body shook as her tendons twitched and shook with energy. It felt like it was building to something.
Suddenly a loud pop got her attention. Staring cross-eyed at her snout Cynder gaped as her nose had suddenly ballooned to twice the size of her head. Another lout pop followed a moment later and she yelped almost falling off the stand with the book. As she looked back she saw her back legs were three times as far back than they should have been her whole middle torso greatly elongated. Still another pop followed and Cynder lifted her clawed hands to see they'd grown to the size of dinner plates.
She tried again to yell for Spyro to stop but before she could another pop sounded and her tongue rolled out of her mouth, at least as long as her whole body used to be. The pops were coming faster now as a pair came right after each other, enlarging her eyes one at a time. And another pop grew her fangs down long enough to touch her chest before another grew her neck out longer than a giraffes.
Cynder whimpered as the changes didn't seem to be stopping as she was stretched and enlarged in various ways. Soon she became too large to stand on the same wooden stand as the book and fell to the floor. Fortunately by then it wasn't far to fall for her bigger size.
As the spell continued she was glad to see she was gradually equalizing again, however some parts still refused to stay with the rest of her like her horns growing to twice the length they should have been and her lower lip was bulging in a permanent pout against her fangs. Her rear end also seemed larger, but that seemed a bonus of sorts.
Finally it seemed Spyro reached the end of the spell. Whatever trance it had on him was broken and he looked around, then yelped when he saw Cynder looking down at him, her head the size of a small cottage to his view point. She had to be two or three times the size of Terrador at least.
"Maybe in the future you should think before just reading a spell aloud to see what it does?" she suggested and Spyro chuckled nervously, "Now, are you going to find a way to get me back to normal or am I going to have to try it?"
