Suzy, one of my geek friends. The girl lived a few blocks from my place. The girl did live action role-playing, collects comics, plays World of Warcraft etc. She was quite a fantasy geek, but also an excellent student. Suzy was the only one I knew that skipped three years. Which didn't make her any popular though. She used to be in my sister's class, and now she was in mine.
I didn't mind, she was fun to play games with. A pretty fun person, just a pretty shy. You could tell from her looks, long frizzy unkempt brown hair and clothes that could've been her mom's. Especially her big sister Jill, who's my age, was embarrassed of Suzy. Being a goth, and pretty chubby didn't make her look much better though.
I walked up to the front door and put my finger on the doorbell. A minute later the door slowly opened. The girl looking back didn't say anything and blushed as she saw who it was. "Hi Suzy," I smiled at her. "Uhm...hello Matt," she said slowly almost whispering. I knew she liked me, maybe even in love with me. "I got something to show you," I took out the remote and showed it to her.
"What's that?," she asked with a surprised look on her face.
