"Are those tickets?" Bryan asked the beaming with excitement.
"Hell yeah they are!" Max exclaimed proudly.
"What for..?" Bryan asked fearing the worst.
"They're an all expenses paid vacation for two!" Max said and flashed the tickets," Pack your bags boy, we're going to Mexico! Tomorrow!"
"But.. I have school," Bryan said a bit stunned.
"You're skipping it," Max announced," You're smart enough already."
The rest of the evening Max was just buzzing about all the fun he could have on vacation. The foreign food, the sun, the booze, being waited on, knowing the average Mexican man is only 5'6", the food. Max was so talkative it took an extra 15 minutes to finish his meal. Normally he just scarfs it down.
After dinner Bryan went to pack his bags and gather everything that they would need. Bryan knew Max would forget his tooth brush and passport. Bryan also downloaded a translator app and begun to try to learn the very basics of Spanish.
"Hey, boy! Wake up! Wake up!" came Max's voice couples with his giant paws shaking Bryan awake.
"Was what..?" Bryan asked slowly waking up.
"Today's the day we leave for Mexico!" Max announced as giddy as a kid on Christmas.
Bryan looked at the alarm clock and saw that Max had woken him up thirty minutes early.
"Hurry up or we'll miss the plane," Max said and left Bryan's bedroom dressed only in his tightly whities.
Bryan got up, showered and had some breakfast while listening to Max continue to express his excitement.
Max was dressed in his usual blue jeans, white shirt with a flannel vest and trucker hat while Bryan decided to dress up a bit with a Polo shirt and some nicer black pants.
The two loaded their stuff into the back of Max's pick up truck and drove to the airport in the dark long before the sun had even come up in the winter landscape.
To Bryan's surprise, Max was actually well behaved at the airport. Saying his please and thank yous, even to Bryan when Max asked for the passports and tickets.
Once Bryan and Max got on the plane, Bryan saw it was going to be a long flight. The tickets had them sitting next to each other. Bryan found himself in the window seat with Max spilling over into his side. Max's thick arm pushing into Bryan the whole way there.
On the way Max watched some pretty basic TV comedies and obnoxiously laughed at the simplest things, stopping Bryan from getting any sleep.
After the long 8 hour flight the two arrived at Mexico and Max started sweating as soon as he stepped off the plane and into the wall of humid air.
"Fuck it's hot here," Max said taking off his trucker's hat and fanning himself.
The two gathered their bags and made their way to the bus area and boarded the bus. Bryan thankfully got the aisle seat this time.
