"Wait..." The crone begged, out of breath, on her hands and knees, "You are heading towards the forest?"
"Hmm? The Waxing Woods ya mean? Aye, that's where we were headed through..."
"But it's dangerous! Filled with horrible creatures, even the trees are said to be wicked in there! You mustn't go..."
"But our destination is said to lie within! An ancient vault of wealth and power said to have been sealed long ago."
"Dammit yeh runt! Don't be telling everyone about the treasure!" Groaned Grungor, "They'll be wanting it for themselves!"
"Oh! No, no young elf, if you're looking for the vault then you won't find it in there... no, what you're trying to find is to the northeast, not in a forest but under a town."
Grungor stomped his foot in protest, pointing an accusing finger at the crone "Hold on you! How do we know yer tellin' the truth?"
The old woman reached into one of the folds of her robes and pulled out a coin. Yet it wasn't one of the ones given to her by Mara, nor was it any other common kind of currency the two had seen in these lands before. The coin looked as though it were made of gold, though it seemed quite a bit shiny for just an ordinary gold piece, and then there was the logo stamped on its face: A single watching eye.
"I have been there myself, back when I wasn't so old and weak..."
Mara stuck her tongue out at Grungor and chuckled, "You see? Maybe you should be more trusting friend... now how do we find this village?"
"Just follow the road that leads north..." She whispered, "Follow the signposts to Pighaven... that's where the vault you seek lies."
