You contemplate just taking the whole pill but decide to just cut off a piece so not to get to small. You aren't even sure if the pill will work or may kill you. So, its best your mind to not take the entire pill you think as you grab a knife and cut off a piece of the small pill.
You are going for about 3/4 of the pill but without exact measuring equipment you most likely are taking more then that. You shrug that thought off though as you get ready to down the pill. Holding the pill and being in the actual moment makes you kind of nervous.
Your mind races with the thoughts of "If this really works, I would be tiny and could have so much fun, If this doesn't work, I just pissed away fifty bucks and have to deal with an angry Angie once she finds out. Speaking of which, I wonder what Angie would think about all of this. Would she be able to see me at just an inch tall? I wonder if I should leave her a note just in case,...." These thoughts circle your mind as you decide to just put them to the side and find out already if the pills actually work or not.
But before you do you quickly review the paper that came with the pills. Remembering that it will take an hour to work as you read it, you can't help but to think that is kind of a drag. You hoped there was an instant way to find out if the pills would work but the only other thing you find is something you didn't notice before as you find a warning label on the actual bottle itself in very small text. You can barley make out what it says as you read things like if you have an allergy to... as well as if inhaled as a powder one might experience... you have to stop reading each line though due to how small the text is and how difficult it is to read.
You assume that this could be better read for a shrunken person which is why its so tiny. Though this warning stuff seems like stuff you should read before you take the pill... But that to the side after scanning it over you find a line saying alcohol consumption and you read a line that says alcohol consumption with the pill could cause permeant... you lose focus on that line as you skip to the next and read alcohol consumption with the pill can intensify the process of...
You stop reading as its straining your eyes having to focus on it. But you figure that alcohol must make the shrinking happen faster. As you take the pill pieces in one hand and your can of beer in the other, you gulp down the pill with the beer. It starts to tingle in your throat as the pill goes down.
You stand there for a few moments waiting for something to happen but nothing. You were a bit upset as you down the rest of your beer. And can't believe that you now have to wait about an hour for the maybe shrinking to occur.
You let out a sigh as you walk over to your kitchen to grab another beer. As you sit and watch some TV waiting and hoping for the pill to work.
(But what does happens after the hour passed? Did the Alcohol do anything to the shrinking process?)
