Amy decided to help out Dr. Eggman. Though Sonic was really cute, Amy wanted to play the "bad girl" role this time around, instead of the love interest or worse, damsel in distress.
Amy carefully snuck into the fight, and when Sonic was standing still (which rarely happens, but was a good opportunity)...she bashed his head with her mallet. Sonic was on the ground, unconcious. And Amy was the one to knock him out!
Wow, being bad shouldn't feel so...good! At least that was what she thought.
Amy wanted to keep the necklace to herself. So she decided to just hold onto it, until she could find a safe place for it.
Dr. Eggman came to see Amy, and thanked her for her assistance. Dr. Eggman picked up Sonic, and prepared to leave. Amy, however, said, "I help you beat you archenemy and I get nothing?!?"
Dr. Eggman thought about this and said, "I was going to make Sonic into a half-machine, half-hedgehog superpowered robot. Far more powerful than almost anything in existence. And brainwash him. But...you could be my first Termination Machine, if you desire. As long as you pledge your loyalty to me."
