Chapter #5

No, a punishment is a punishment.

    by: Unknown
"No, a punishment is a punishment," your mom, named Beth, said sternly. "You are going to carry the pregnancy until the end of the term, and this is the last I want to hear about this." As she walked away to your room, you let out a heavy sigh in defeat.

You stepped back into the kitchen to begin cleaning up dinner. You put leftovers in the refrigerator, washed all of the dishes, and cleaned up the many spills you made while making dinner. Mom's delicate hands made this work kind of easy; however, the large protrusion from your belly held you back. Then you realized it: Mom was about eight months pregnant judging from the size of her belly. That means you only need to stay in your mom's body for another month. Childbirth on the other hand was a different story.

After all the cleaning was said and done, you decided to try something that your mom had always liked. You walked up to the bathroom in order to take a nice long bath. It took a lot of effort to climb up the stairs but you finally reached the bathroom. You took a long, hot bath with her scented bath salts. While this was something that you would probably never do, it felt heavenly with your mom's new body. You didn't even think about exploring your new body and instead thought about your new situation.

You were surprised that everyone actually thought you were your mom. While the two of you had similar faces and even had similar hair styles, your voices sounded nothing alike. You could try and say you have a cold when someone questions it. The warm water and the scented salts completely cleared your mind and you were able to think clearly. Mom had probably been going through a mid-life crisis and couldn't handle a third child. Your ignorance didn't help that fact. In that moment you made a promise to your mom that when you got out of her body, you would be nicer to her. She had a hard time doing things with the baby. However, this was her body and her baby so why did you have to carry it for another month. You could plot to get your body back or just live out her life.

You have the following choices:

1. You live out your mother's life for the next month.

*Noteb*
2. You try and plot to get your body back.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
