Kelos mounts up, and the party set off.

The power and strength of being a horse was thrilling to Xarlat who had never taken on this form. Kelos was almost an after thought, but the enjoyment of the ride was cut by being enforced into servitude by the obnoxious whelp Kelos. The ride was used to investigate the village around the castle to what purpose Xarlat didn't know nor did he care unless it would help to ruin relations between the kingdoms. The riders had gathered in a secluded glen away from the local town or the castle. This boded well for treachery being a foot or for moving off to change back to human form to properly reek havoc on this group of potential heroes. Should he remain a horse to listen to the plans of a pompous prince, unleash his full wrath upon them, or search for other mischief to cause.
