Chapter #3

Somethings Don't Always Go As Planned

    by: Unknown
I struggled to stand up but found that I was no longer strong enough to do so. I struggled for a moment before giving up; wondering why my clothes were so much bigger, when I turned around to find mom standing over me with a smile on her face.

As if all of this wasn't weird enough, I was surprised when she knelt down and picked me up without a problem; which shouldn't have happened because I was 4 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier than her. I have absolutely no idea what's going on, until I saw something unusual in the mirror.

My face went pale, and chills went down my spine, as I realized that I'd somehow been turned into a baby.

Turning away from the mirror, I looked up to see Mom smiling down at me. "Don't give me that look, young man; I would've preferred not to do this but you forced my hand." Carrying me into the hallway, Mom said, "To be honest though, I prefer it this way; I can have my baby back again."

Unable to hold it in anymore, I suddenly burst out crying hysterically; waving my arms around in a vain attempt to escape from my mom. Just as mom was trying to calm me down, I saw my sister Kelly walk into the hallway. "What's going on, mom?" sighing, she said, "The baby's crying woke me up."

"Stop acting like it's something that can be controlled, Kelly; baby's tend to cry a lot at this age."

Catching a whiff of something, Kelly said, "Well I think the diaper needs to be changed; I can smell it from here."

"No, it's not that! I'm not a baby!"

Sniffing my diaper, which until now I didn't even realize I had, my mom said, "I guess you're right; I'll go change it."

Carrying me back into my bedroom, which had somehow turned into a nursery within the last few minutes, Mom placed me on a changing table. My eyes darted all over the place; finding my posters and books at been replaced with an ocean-themed mural over a crib. That wasn't the weirdest difference that I noticed; the walls were now painted a light shade of peach. "Oh no; please don't tell me..."

By this point mom had removed the diaper and said, "Oh my; it looks like my little princess really had to go."

Not only had my mom turned me into a baby; but she'd turned me into a girl!
