Pokemon Weight Gain Journey

Author’s Note: This interpretation of May will based on the ORAS (Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire) Remake Games

Our story begins with a young girl called May, a twelve year old girl waking up and rolling out of her bed; from the sound of the alarm clock. She quickly pulled her PJs off and immediately dressed herself up in her regular clothes, her orange and black shirt, white short shorts with black bike shorts underneath, yellow and black boots and lastly a red and white headscarf. Dressed and ready to start the day and was it a very special day indeed.

As today was the day she was off to visit the Pokémon Lab in her town and see Professor Birch to receive her very first Pokémon! What would she receive? A Treecko? A Torchic? Maybe even a Mudkip? Overwhelming with excitement, she hurried herself out of her bedroom, running down the steps and straight into the kitchen to see her mother waiting for her.

May sat down at the kitchen table, eager to eat her breakfast so she could head to the Professor's lab. Caroline, her mother, had already prepared a large breakfast for her daughter knowing her young girl needed the energy and nutrients for the big day ahead; which she eagerly ate away. After wolfing down her meal seconds, followed by a sudden loud belch and patting her bloated belly, she hugged and thanked her mother for meal and headed out the door to begin her Pokémon journey. Before she left, her mother stopped her one more time.

“Alright May, are you sure you have everything you need? You packed up enough underwear, right? How about towels? You never know when a Pokémon Center won’t provide-”

“Mom, I’m fine! Really!” she said with a smile.

“Okay dear, have fun and remember be careful out there,” Caroline sighed as she watched her daughter leave the house. “They grow up so fast,” she thought to herself happily.
