Sammy stared at the clock waiting, waiting for it to be 3:15. Only two minutes, but they seemed like hours. An uncomfortable itchy feeling spread over his eight year old body. Finally the bell rang, and Sammy ran to the bathroom.
The green room was empty. The itchy feeling turned into a burning feeling, and it seemed to go right through him. Sammy leaned against the wall, sliding down, his head in his knees.
His skin was hot, and his mouth dry. Suddenly, there was a tug in his gut, and a spurt of water hit him straight in the face, sizzling against his hot skin. He stood up and looked in the mirror. His skin looked normal, but his eyes changed from blue to green, then back to blue.
Confused, Sammy stared at himself. Then, all the burning and itching was gone, imediatly following a scream from outside, insanly loud.
Sammy grabbed his backpack (which had been laying outside, thanks to his friend, Cody) and the two ran down the hall.
It was raining. Hard and fast. Lightning had struck the tree and the rain seemed to spiral around. Sammy's thoughts whirled, and he felt sick.
Then he noticed that the rain followed along with his thoughts and feelings. He forced himself to relax, and thought about warm sunlight.
The gray clouds parted, and the rain abruptly stopped.
Cody looked at Sammy. His expression was hilarious.
"That was weird." he said.
"Yeah....." Sammy mumured. If only Cody knew.
