"I want to swap the colour of my fur with Nick."
As soon as the Stone let out its flash, both Judy and Nick began to feel odd. It was almost like someone had poured a bucket of cold water over them, followed by a bucket of warm water.
When the odd feeling had gone away, the two mammals looked at their reflections in the mirror. They stared at themselves for almost a minute before Nick said in a deadpan tone: "We look ridiculous."
"You don't look quite as ridiculous as I do," said Judy, trying to hold back her laughter. "After all; there are gray foxes, but I have never seen a red bunny before."
The two mammals had indeed swapped their fur colour with each other; just as Judy had wished for. Her fur was now the reddish-maroon shade that Nick usually was, while Nick had ended up with her own grey colouration.
"I can't believe how powerful this stone is," said Judy as she studied her new fur colour in the mirror. "I'm getting curious as to how powerful it actually is."
"I don't like the sound of that," said the now grey-furred Nick.
"Relax, you dumb fox; it wasn't meant that way," said Judy. "I was just wondering what would happen if I were to make a more extreme change to the both of us. With your permission, of course," she quickly added after seeing the nervous look on Nick's face.
Nick thought about it for a moment. Truthfully, he was starting to get curious as well, but at the same time he was also worried that the change might be a bit too extreme for him to handle. Still, Judy had given her word...
"Okay, Carrots," he finally said. "You can make a more drastic change; just as long as you remember to change us back to normal as soon as you are done."
"Gotcha," commented Judy. "Speaking of which..."
She gripped the stone tightly and said: "Stone, I want Nick and myself to be back to normal." The stone let out the familiar flash and instantly the two mammals had their own fur colour back.
"Alright, Cottontail," said Nick. "What kind of change did you have in mind? I hope that you don't want to swap our bodies again."
"Not exactly," said Judy with a smirk. "But; you have to admit, that now that we've had a moment to think about it, it actually was kind of interesting to be someone else, right?"
"Okay, maybe just a little bit," admitted Nick. "But, I'm not quite ready to fully swap bodies again for the moment. So, if you wouldn't mind doing something else?"
"Okay," replied Judy. She thought hard about what kind of change to make, before she made up her mind. Holding the stone tightly, she said: "Stone; I want to..."
