"Wait; what?!?" yelled Nick.
Judy didn't take much notice as the flash from the stone ingulfed both of them. She suddenly felt herself getting a bit taller, while hearing a thud and a grunt of pain from Nick's direction.
As soon as the flash was gone, she saw the most bizarre sight in the mirror; her own grey-furred bunny torso on top of Nick's red-furred legs and waist! What was even stranger was that the legs still had their original proportion, which made her upper body look rather tiny on top of Nick's lower body.
She looked over at Nick and had to stifle a laugh at the equally bizarre sight that Nick presented. His own upper body was now attached to her own tiny bunny-legs! And from the looks of it, Nick was having significant problems balancing his upper fox-body on the pair of comparatively small legs.
"What's the big idea, Carrots?" asked the equal parts freaked out and angry Nick, as he tried to keep himself somewhat upright.
Judy smirked. "Well; you did say that you weren't ready to fully swap bodies again, so I chose to swap only half our bodies."
"That's not what I meant!" complained Nick as he tried to use his arms to steady himself. "I want you to change us back, right now!"
"Come on, Nick," pleaded Judy. "Can't we just stay like this for at least a few moments? I'd like to examine this a bit more closely." When Nick still didn't look like he would relent, she added: "It'll be the last change I'll make for now; I promise."
Given Nick's current situation, it was hard him to think while trying to balance his disproportionate body, but he eventually decided that it was acceptable. He could deal with this weird change, if it really was the last one for a while.
"Alright, Carrots; it's a deal," said the troubled fox. "But, please, do it fast."
"Okay; I'll try," said Judy as she looked into the mirror to get a closer look at her current situation.
Now that she could get a closer look at her altered body, she noticed a curious little detail; her regular upper body was still clad in the police uniform, but Nick's legs, which her upper body was currently attached to, was still clad in Nick's kahki pants.
Appearently, her wish to swap their lower halves had insured that everything from their waist down had been exchanged.
In order to get an even closer look, Judy lifted up her uniform slightly so she could see the where her upper body had fused to Nick's waist.
Judy was amazed at how seamless the transition between her own grey fur and Nick's red fur was. It was so fluid, that it seemed as though this was how she had been all her life.
'The Wishing Stone keeps getting more and more incredible each time it is used,' she thought. As she let go of her uniform, she decided it was time to try to walk with her new legs.
"Whoah; this is weird!" exclaimed Judy as she took a step. Since Nick's legs were much bigger than her upper body, her sense of balance was off by a mile. It didn't take her long to adjust, however, and she was soon taking big strides around the room.
She looked over at Nick who had been doing roughly the same thing, with one difference. As Nick had painfully discovered, Judy's lower body, which was still clad in the ZPD uniform, was just not strong enough to hold up the weight of his regular upper body; the end result being that he was currently sitting on his current bunny butt while he performed the same examinations as Judy had.
"Isn't this incredible?" said Judy as she used Nick's legs to take enormous steps around him. "This Stone can change anything we want! Of course, we should only use it for good reasons, but we could have a lot of fun with this in private! I'm actually still stoked by the fact that I now have your lower body, Nick!"
"Yeah; you do have my lower body," said Nick with a smug tone of voice. "My ENTIRE lower body."
Judy looked confused at first, until she realized what he meant. It was only then that she became far too aware of a certain bulge between Nick's legs, causing her to blush more red than the sportscar which Flash, the sloth, had.
"Okay; I think that's enough for now," said an embarrased Judy. "Stone; I want me and Nick to go back to normal, please!"
After the obligatory flash, both the bunny and the fox were back to their regular selves.
"Alright; that was uncomfortable," said Judy as she placed the Stone upon her table.
Nick looked at her with an expression that screamed: 'I told you so'.
"Well; I've had enough of the Stone for one day," confessed Judy. "So; what do you want to do now?"
Nick didn't hesitate. "I think that..."
