This choice: sleep on my back or side? • Go Back... ...sleep on my side?" the kitsune finished.
"But, I might hurt you, because you're much smaller than me," Astrid pointed out.
"You won't hurt me from that," the kitsune told her, "Besides, I'm not going to be this size when you sleep on me." With that statement, the kitsune began to grow himself like last time as he walked over to his mat. Astrid stared in awe as he grew to the same height he grew to last time. With such a large size, it was hard for Astrid to imagine that the kitsune was actually kind. "Now, hold still," the kitsune ordered. Astrid wondered why the kitsune told her to do that, but she realized why when the kitsune moved his front leg so that it covered her body. Astrid was worried, but before she could panic, the kitsune told her, "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. This is just so that you can keep warm."
"I'm sorry," Astrid apologized again, "It's just that this whole thing it new to me."
"I understand," the kitsune replied, "I would most likely do the same if I were in your position. What's your name?"
"Astrid," she answered, "What's your's?"
"I don't have one," the kitsune told her, "My parents abandoned me the day I was born."
"Why? What happened?" Astrid asked.
The kitsune answered... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
