What cute little demonic foxie

    by: Reddmon Author IconMail Icon
Inside the bundle was a furry... creature, and Bowhan could feel that some things was moving in the bundle. He desperately hoped those things were tails. He ran out of the town, clutching the bundle close to himself. The creature inside the bundle was making murring noises, as if it enjoyed being held that way.

Once Bowhan thought he was far enough away from town he placed the bundle on the ground and unwrapped it. The creature that came out was covered in orange and white fur, and had two tails. "A kitsune," Bowhan groaned to himself, "It had to be a kitsune!"

Although not extremely evil or deadly creatures, kitsunes are known being irritatingly mischievous and extremely hard to catch. Also, kitsunes are incredibly capable in both the hypnotic and magical arts so they can easily manipulate anyone they please. And if that wasn't enough, they have a life span of a few thousand years!

Bowhan was startled when he felt the kitsune rubbing its fur against his legs. Bowhan knelt down next to the kitsune and it turned to face him. To Bowhan's surprise the kitsune had blue eyes, like his. Bowhan knew he'd never be able to bring himself to kill it.

"Go away. Shoo!" Bowhan said to the kitsune before him. Either it didn't understand Bowhan, or it didn't care, because the kitsune walked up and began rubbing itself against Bowhan's face. Bowhan pushed it away from himself. "No," he said, "Shoo!" The kitsune sat down and stared at Bowhan with that pout that puppies have that can break a criminal's heart. Bowhan took a deep breath. "It's just trying to trick me," he thought to himself, "I can't take care of it."

The kitsune kept giving him the puppy pout, and Bowhan didn't think could handle it. He didn't want to but-

*KICK*

The kitsune yelped with surprise at being kicked. It got up and began backing away from Bowhan. Bowhan couldn't stand it any longer, he turned and ran off, tears welling in his eyes.

The kitsune fled into a forest near by, and, thanks to its human half, began to cry.

16 years have passed...
