You decide to stay where you are for now. Part of you reasons that you should not be wandering around in a strange environment when it seems like you are only an inch tall. The other part of you is really just too scared to move. This grass feels like a good hiding place though. Nothing should be able to find you in here.
As it turned out not being noticed was the first problem you encountered. Just a few minutes into hiding in the grass you could feel a few tremors in the ground. Those tremors felt like they were getting closer too. That is when you knew that some giant was walking your way and you had to move.
You started to run through the grass. It was just in time too. A large foot came down right where you had been standing. That foot was not human either. There were two large red scaly toes that were tipped with claws longer than you were tall. You did not have time to look up at the creature since you had to keep running or end up making those red feet a little bit redder.
If the creature had been running you would be dead. It was only walking so you stood a slight chance of getting away. Then you burst into a dirt clearing and the creature behind you noticed the small being fleeing before it. Now that the creature knew you were there it did not take much effort on its part to catch you. You found yourself pinched between two massive and yet incredibly flexible claws.
In seconds you were lifted what seemed like hundreds of feet in the air to you. You found yourself dangling in front of a red dinosaur like creature with black markings. This creature is a guilmon, a type of digimon. That is impossible since those creatures are not supposed to really exist, but you are not supposed to be one inch tall either. Guilmon brings you closer to his snout and he starts to sniff you. “What are you, I’ve never seen a digimon like you before,” Guilmon asked.
“I’m not a digimon. I’m a human,” you respond.
“What’s a human, do they taste good?”
“I’m a human and we taste terrible,” you say to Guilmon.
“Hmm, I think I should test that for myself. Food always says it doesn’t taste good but I find it normally does,” Guilmon said as he opened his mouth and dangled you above it. You start pleading with Guilmon not to eat you, but your pleas seem to fall on deaf ears. His claws are too smooth for you to get a grip on. It looks like your first encounter with a digimon is going to be incredibly brief.
