Digital Fox

Guilmon’s glistening maw looks like it is beckoning for the tiny treat that is you. Then he lets you go and you scream as you fall through the air. When you are mere inches from his tongue there is a blur of motion. That blur intercepts you as you fall. Everything happened so fast that you could not understand what had occurred.
You were slightly dazed but you were still alive and not in something’s mouth. That could only be a good thing. A voice that sounded female then said, “Guilmon! What do you think you’re doing?” You looked at the source of the voice and you were surprised to see that you were standing in the palm of the creature that voice belonged to. And that creature was a large fox like creature that had yellow fur and was even taller than Guilmon.
Apparently you had just been rescued by a Renamon. “Humans aren’t food unless they misbehave. Then you can eat them. If you thought with more than just your stomach you would know that,” chastised Renamon. Or maybe you had not been rescued after all.
“How was I supposed to know that? I’ve never even heard of humans before. If they aren’t for eating then what are they for anyways?” asked Guilmon.
“They’re slaves of course. I haven’t had my own human in a while though. The last one got old and I had to eat him. He was such a good little slave too. Then again, he was also a good little snack,” said Renamon as she licked her lips in memory of the flavor of her human slave.
“Excuse me,” you said, “but do I get any say in this?”
The giant Renamon looked down at you and smiled. Then she pets you lightly on the head, well, lightly for her and said, “Of course you have a choice little human. If you don’t want to be a slave one of us can eat you right now. You even get to choose which one of us you would like to eat you.” She actually said that as if it were a good thing. Renamon thought those were some good choices for you.
“I think I’ll just be a slave for now,” you said. At least you would still be alive that way. If you have some time you might be able to find a way out of this mess. Besides, getting chewed up or swallowed alive sounds awfully painful. Just how bad could being a slave for the two digimon be anyways? It is not like you can do their heavy lifting for them. In fact, pretty much anything you could do for them is going to be limited by your small size.
