The corpse-golem spell works by burying a victims imago, essentia, and anima under the substantia in a way that renders it irretrievable until the spell is undone, so the mask or mind band wouldn’t have anything to copy. A mask golem placed onto graveyard earth golem or a corpse golem would be obedient to the person who the mask golem has to obey. I can’t answer the question about the mask golem for certain, but I’m 90% sure that the golem paste will seal the mask and be wearable without sealing it with the second spell. Not 100% sure about trying to seal a blank mask either, but I think it would make it so the mask could only copy 1 image. I’m basing this on the fact that the sealant works by disabling the mask’s built in imago auto-editor, but Seuzz has said in supplemental material before that the sigil for the 1st spell could be modified to remove the auto-editor, which would make the sealant unnecessary. The principle seems similar here, a blank mask with a disabled auto-editor would probably still be able to copy a single person’s imago, but not to merge faces. And finally, no clue whatsoever about how trying to put contradicting hair into a golem would work, but given the nature of essentia, I cannot imagine the golem would function. The spell might be designed not to function with conflicting hair, but I doubt it, because the Libra doesn’t really do handholding. |
