The soldiers have been beaten. The enemy has taken control.
[Introduction]
The year was 1254 B.C. The world was at a point in time that was long forgotten. Until today. The enemy was an army that was said to have risen from darkness. From the pits of hell itself. The were called, the Foresworn. And they rose up and claimed many lands. And many lives as well. The Forsworn had sailed to the edge of Europe, to a kingdom that was never found. This is where our story begins.

The French army was well trained and well prepared. What many people don't know, it's that the French were well built at this time. But they would soon have to rebuild. The enemy was taking march through the forest, straight up to the kingdom's walls. But groups were sent out to stop the forces. The group of importance, is the fifth group. Consisting of life long friends, Galen, Hatsuphate, Fredrick, and finally George the II. There were many other men in the group but these men were most important.
"Well, we set out tonight." George said as he adjusted his armor. Their group was about to head out.
"Any regrets?" Hatsuphate asked.
Nobody responded. Then Fredrick came forward.
"I haven't gotten to tell my love of my feelings for her. And I love her dearly. Hopefully, we'll all get back safely." He said staring at the thick forest.
Suddenly, the order was given to move forward. And the soldiers did.
"Do you think-" a man began when suddenly, PFFT!
A single arrow sprouted from his neck. He stood there, then fell to the ground.
Then chaos broke loose.
Men stormed forward, shields raised. Arrows flew and men fell. Fighting broke out, swords struck one another. George hit the ground and lost his shield. Fredrick used his sword and shield well, blocking and cutting at enemies. Galen swiftly shot enemies with his bow. Hatsuphate stabbed at a soldier. In away, all was well. Then, PFFT! Storms of arrows pelted men, bringing many down. Galen held out his shield to block the arrows, when three hit his legs. He fell to the ground screaming. George looked at him sadly. Frederick hid behind a boulder, and hatsuphate sprinted away to where the arrows wouldn't hit him.
Galen just sat there shouting. The arrows stopped.
Nearly all of the men were dead. A few stood, completely dumbstruck. Then, enemy men came out, yelling threats. Nobody moved. The group failed.
A man walked up to Galen, and shouted for him to stop screaming. But Galen didn't. The man rose his sword and warned him again. He still shouted.
The man brought down his blade onto his neck.
Galen was dead. Then the others decided that was the time to run.
They all sprinted into the forest, the enemies chasing after them. Arrows flew and men fell. An arrow hit hasuphate in the leg and he fell. Nobody knows what became of him because he was left behind.
The men ran until they found the shore. There were small boats along the beach. Fredrick and George looked to one another, then headed for a boat. They heard noises and explosions. They turned back to see massive flames. They saw the archer towers of the kingdom crumble. They heard thousands of screams. Screams that would haunt them forever.
Fredrick and five others took a boat, and George took a tiny canoe for himself. The idea was to go farther down the shore and help fight back. They rowed along, when arrows with fire tips pelted Frederick's boat. The top of the boat burst into flames and the men screamed as they were burned alive. George then decided that he would give up. So he rowed away from the shore. And he didn't stop until he was lost at sea. Most say he went insane from the lose if his friends. Others say that he killed himself. But nobody can tell. Because there's never any true evidence, when the history is of a dead man.

The End.
