This scripture from The Good News, I find powerful in helping form actions of grace in my life.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

I wish your days and nights peace and harmony.

I think of things that I determine to be resolved by me; the decision to write directly into my blog window for example. Or deciding to brew a pot of coffee. These small mental engagements; pondering our resolve. The more resolve each of us has deciding the stance to take after our synapses and neurons communicating through chemical interaction mold our response. Just think of a long ladder. Now each rung of the ladder is a neuron (Our brain is made up of billions of these things.) Let’s also imagine that we have cut the two arms of the ladder, creating a number of what we're calling neurons.

Our brains work in a combination biological and electrical environment. So now let’s pretend again that in order for our brain to work right our Neurons (piece of ladder with the rung) have to be able to communicate with each other. Creating (voluntary and involuntary responses.)

The neurons communicate with each other by absorbing the chemical that the next neuron on the line had emitted. So these brain cells work as a two headed faucet and the volume and even the makeup dictated by the amounts and lack of chemical released. Brain cells work by picking up a number of chemicals on one end and on the other end it releases specific amounts of chemical to be discharged to the next neuron on the line.

Now I chuckle thinking of how I'm describing brain function, and in such an inadequate way. I'm fixated 24/7 on it and how it feels (my brain), coupled with the muffled humming in my ears. Actually feeling like my eardrum’s being used as basedrumbs. And the most distressing of all is my inability to harness the pain using one of the most amazing instrument, my brain

Sometimes the experience is to beat the band, and sometimes it makes the band run away and hide. At least I can decide how bad it is, and not let it overwhelm me. In all, ten percent of things, are things that happen, and ninety percent of things, are how I react to those happenings. So I’ve decided that my reactions to situations, be they good or bad, reflect my humanity, and its depth. That not only includes physical and verbal reactions, but psychological reactions as well. I have a building block upon which I can place my trust in the development of myself, and world.

That important foundation has been in my life from day one. My unconditional acceptance is, and was, the only hurdle on my path. A self- imposed hurdle. The will and freedom that I have given myself, have always been there for acceptance, by me. My mind is forever pondering my own resolve on the essence of life, always leaving me open to queries. Those queries are given a resting-place in my faith.

As people think for themselves, and think what they will, my personal anticipation is affection. Affection is powerful, in that it gives support and affirmation to yourself. Supporting those around you; emulating love.

So I guess, that how I respond to society, is to deal with the whole works in the spirit of love:

"Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and it’s faith, hope, and patience fail.

Love is eternal. There are inspired messages, but they are temporary; there are gifts of speaking in strange tongues, but they will cease, there is knowledge, but it will pass. For our gifts of knowledge and inspired messages are only partial.

When I was a child, my speech, feelings, and thinking were all that of a child. Now that I am a man, I have no more use for childish ways. What we are like now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we see face to face.

There are faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of the three is love."

I’m on the path. People on the path I’m on are life affirming, with confidence and joy.

I said to a friend of mine recently, we are all getting older by the minute, isn’t that the truth. Self- absorption can only have so much value. Now don’t get me wrong, some self- absorption is a good thing, we get to know ourselves more intimately. Me, getting to know myself, has put me on the track I’m on. We’re all getting older in the process.

Opening our hearts to ourselves and others, helps us reach a point in our life to be very proud of. Wearing the shoes of adulthood, and moving into the realm of the unknown; exciting and new. It is sometimes a challenge, to not let the path overcome, but with patience and perseverance, the rewards of life are gained. Opening of the heart, shares those rewards with the world.

Lessons that are learned through life, can have, and often do have, a catastrophic impact on our well being. Letting that force have a growing impact, instead of letting it suffocate the life out of you, goes without saying.

Living, is the process of learning, and vice versa.

Livin' It

The intricate process each of us go through with others, are things that sometimes are personal & private. With other items discussed that would be freely shared with others whatever the topic may be.

I guess I’m referring to privliged information which I consider also to be private. Dictating between the two is the master stroke! For me anyway, I most time put a huge buffer on most things, and that way assuring success mostly of not offending anyone I may have conversed with. Now how’s that for die hard nice?

Perhaps a little faith provoking feelings of obligatory care. Perhaps a little determination of a standard dictating care and aid to all. Regardless the particulars maintaining fellowship observed; standards.

Then take the whole kit & Caboodle and land wherever each of us are in our moment. Joys, Loves, Sadness, Defeats, Anguish, all completely unique to every single one of us. And how we personally are molded from our response to the world unfolding before us.

In the care and compassion for people close...

Grace

Being human we all have default grace; manafesting it is another story.

We as people are very important for our being alive. With a heartbeat and cognitive ability, we are masters of self. The direction and scope of which is always unfolding before us.

With gentle coaxing, we have at our disposal the wonders of life. Many wondrous happenings that are in front of us every day.

We just need open our eyes.

Experience

The experience we live, the who, the when, the where, all five, are unique to none other than the one living them. Our flavor of happiness, or even sadness, is summed up by our unique gene structure, mixed from our parents, and our experience of the world.

So our response to different events is again unique in that the neurons crackling chemicals to the receptors in our head, is happening to no one else. Identical twins are the only ones with the same exact DNA, but that is where it ends. Their experiences from birth til death, are solely unique exactly the same as everyone else.

Our essence learns through-out our life span the intricacies of morality, justice, ethics, faith, Love, and a multitude of other miraculous wonders given every single one of us. The intensity of these happenings both good and bad, help in the process of molding our minds to think and react in certain ways to numerous experiences lived.

I did the reading today, and it was from Mathew, and it referred to the what the most important of the commandments are, and Christ said,” Love God with all your heart soul and mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it; you shall love your neighbor as yourself."

Just some fragmented thoughts I for some reason thought to write. I find very often that when I produce a good piece of writing, it is a result of just writing random thoughts.

Ever Present Past

The phrase “ever present past”, is a powerful few simple words, that when pondered , leads everyone down the long light tunnel, at the end of which we sit on our throne and hold our scepter ruling our world; the true essence of who we are, falts and all.

The reason being that when we think of the past we pick and choose which thoughts we will bring to the forefront when remembering the past unfolding of our time.

Now this is where essence chimes in. Our essence is a living, growing, part of what has been gifted to us from God. The essence has amazing truly stunning abilities, one of which is be in command of our mental faculties, and dictate our response to absolutely anything that may befall us.

Being alive is not child play. For many poor unfortunate souls go without in our world. Realization of ones blessings is critical to our empowered vision of self. Meaning that grateful acknowledgement produces without fail, many more things to be grateful for. I pen these few words a disabled man. A medicated man who’s life twenty four seven, revolves around physical and mental impact as a result of a severe injury. I’ve heard the term many times, “We all have our own cross to carry.” Surrendering to Christ; taking life's anguish and bareing it as humble sacrafice to the devine knowledge of God.

It has a lot to do with the person that we have shown ourselves to be to the world, and ourselves in our lives up to the present, as life moves foreword, and how those remembrances play out upon our understanding of who we are, and who the souls around us appear to be. Maintaining always the ability to turn full circle in our lives changing completely.

Personal conviction fits in here too.

I Believe

Many govern their behavior to align with understood expectations. Through interaction with others, coupled with ease of ones, “stress hormones” joy can become manifest. Which is of the Devine Order; Love being It’s Mate.

Joy can be cultivated into the unfolding of our lives.

Love and Joy are inherent in our lives. They are as genetically inplanted into our DNA just as the colour of our eyes is!

Having a mental grasp of that, and attempting to live it is a life exercise.

So how do you feel about the BLOG?

Building Strength

I sit and ponder community, and think of the power it can manifest. We merge and meld into loving and dynamic people in our unity. The loving and attentive hand provides solace giving fortitude. In our relationships with one another, on occasion intimately, and often cordially building upon one another’s strengths. An easiness of heart and mind can so easily be had, and so easily be lost. In the progression of time, with resolution to the events of our lives, as they have unfolded, we dictate were our dissertation of calm and balanced demeanor really is.

We go through life.

How we go through life, is akin to a snowflake; all unique. As we go through we develop a base core of beliefs; a base - core of innate behavior that has been genetically encoded. Mingled with elements of our environment.

We as people, are very important for our being alive. With our heartbeat and cognitive ability, we are masters of ourselves. The direction and scope of which, is always unfolding before us. With gentle coaxing, we have at our disposal the wonders of life. There are many wondrous happenings that are in front of us every day. We just need open our eyes, mind and heart to the wonder given every single one of us, regardless of class or were one lives!

Viewing our life in a righteous light, is what life deserves. I was going to say, "And what God demands." But I don't think God demands. I think our Lord expects us to, live up to life.

Upon further thought I believe God loves each of us individually, as well as the communitys we live in as a whole.

God is all.

God is Love.
