Not interesting at all. Just like me.

In a text-based world, I'm beautiful.

My favorite things in life:

*waking up from a good dream with that good feeling that comes from good dreams.
         *cocoa
         *hugs
*banana paraphernalia (chips, smoothies, ice cream....)
         *knowing that I am understood.
         *good pens/pencils
         *writing down my thoughts
         *serving
         *conversations of the deep sort.
*spending time with those that I love.
*a cleansing bunch of noise once in a while
*quiet the rest of the time
         *blogging my lil heart out
         *understanding
*noticing the little things that generally don't matter.
*being just a little bit different
         *pretending to be a poser

"You must do the things you think you cannot do."
-Eleanor Roosevelt.

This is straightforwardly me.

This morning was a trip. *Smile* After work, Lindsey, a girl I work with, was going to walk all the way to an off-campus apartment. It was over two miles away at 3:30am.

So, I walked with her. I had my bike, so I could get back quick. (I'm no nit-wit) (Okay, maybe I am, but I wasn't this time)

It was actually a great deal of fun. We're both from poverty-level families of 6 kids. (melted families, nonetheless)

I didn't realize how much we have in common. I mean, other than the fact that she's cool and got and MIP last year, we're very similar.

I always say that I can get along with anyone if I'm with them long enough. It's like that saying, "If you don't like something, try it ten more times. If you still don't like it, try it 100 more times. By 100 times..." Yeah, you really like everything eventually...

When I started working, I actually didn't like Lindsey. How crazy is that?

But yeah, I have 3 big tests this week. Why am I on WDC????????

Oh yeah, my deep ending statement: Never say never. Try the avocado dip 12,000 times. Have a nice weekend. *Wink*

"And every single day,
the sun will rise,
the moon will fade..."

Every night that I work.

Every night that I work.

Each time, I come home, it's early. 3am or later.

I quietly come in. I take off my shoes. I go into the bathroom. I take out my contacts. I brush my teeth. I take my hair down, (did I mention that my hair is about chin length now?), I put on my PJs, I put my uniform in my cupboard in the sink.

I come into my room and am almost silent. I use my cellphone as a light. I take off my glasses. I step on my stool, and try to crawl quietly into bed.

But I have the top bunk. It wasn't my choice. I didn't live here all summer. The other occupant of this room did.

So if the bed creaking wakes her up, what can I do? Quit my job? I'd still go to bed late.

So will you please tell me why she says nothing when I talk to her? Why we end up silently avoiding each other if we have to exist in the same room? Why she even bothers to pretend like she has any good feelings for me.

So ya hate me. I can tell by your stinking body language. *Frown*

This year is not going so great.

Room changes are now possible... If I were to change, it wouldn't be because of the other two girls. Just the one I share with.

But would I end up with worse then what I've already got?

So I've almost come to that point when I really need to get a major.

I mean, really. Who takes out thousands of dollars in loans if they don't even have a reason to be in college?

Well, maybe you do. Maybe if you were really certain of your future. Maybe if you loved school, that sort of things.

But I'm not.

I mean, being undecided is for freshmen who are here for fun while their parents handle the bill.

So, what have I been thinking about...?

Well, you really wanna know?

Maybe... Maybe I've been thinking about library science.

.
.
.
.
.
.

Yes, I know. It's silly.

I mean, ME, as a LIBRARIAN, for the REST of my LIFE.

They really don't make much.

And they have to read stuff that I don't enjoy as much (or more) then they get to read the things I love...

So why am I even considering it?

Bio homework can eat itself.

Fucking eat itself.

And Spanish?

Huah. Don't get me started on Spanish. *Angry* The professor doesn't even check it. He just calls out questions to random people for the answer. And if you didn't do the homework? You look like an idioto.

*snarls*

*isn't pretty*

//rant.

*Smile* *Heart*

Oic.

So, at home, the house was always a mess. Stuff on the table, dishes in the sink. The shower always needed cleaning. There was always laundry in the laundry room. (usually laundry that no one claimed). It was a mess in general.

Last year my apartment was always decent. There were usually dishes in the sink, but a reasonable amount. And the laundry was kept to the laundry basket.

And this year?

Oy, it's going to be a CLEAN year.

You know those houses that you're afraid to let your kids into, for fear that they might get dirt or germs somewhere?

Yup...

Here is my bloggy.

(I guess that here, it's technically just a journal...*Blush*)

Summer... Summer....

I spent my summer with an awesome group of kids ages 13-17. Um, most of what went on was incredable and fun, but like most of my life, you really had to be there to appreciate it.

Things I learned this summer:

1. Curious George can materialize anywhere he wants to.
2. Any guy, if he tries hard enough, can get a cute girl's phone number.
3. Crickets are edible
4. Anything can be forgiven between boyfriend and girlfriend.
5. Everyone is lovable if you spend enough time with them.
6. Don't try to sleep underneath of someone who drools.
7. Guys can never remember how badly they hurt you.
8. Girls expand how much the guy hurt them as time goes on.
9. In an emotional argument, nobody is right.
10. Maturity is all a matter of circumstance.
11. Halo is as Halo players do.
12. Between the ages of 13-17, the opposite gender is everything.
13. Buried treasure is EVERYWHERE.....
14. Clothes never sell at a garage sale.
15. Never shake your fist at someone while in the ghetto.
16. You learn a lot from teens.

I can't think of anything else even remotely funny...
