"For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.” (Isaiah 53:2, KJV) ------------------------------------ "My servant grew up in the Lord’s presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him." (Isaiah 53:2, NLT) Prompt: Would we be able to pick out Jesus in a crowd, if we were walking past Him on the street? This is a thoughtful question? I say yes if Jesus wants us to know he is there. No. If he hides from us. Another thought brought on by this? How would we react? You are asking questions about the ruler of the universe? How do you feel thinking about the reality of Jesus walking toward you? I always wonder if it will be in modern clothing or robes worn 2000 years ago? I don't expect this to happen, so difficult to speculate. When I went to Australia with the 30-Day-Challenge one august, my research of the country led me to find a man who says he is the reincarnation of Jesus living in one of the towns. He also says all of his friends are reincarnations of the apostles and Mary Magdalene. We have the Holy Spirit. Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit so we would not be alone.
