Icon: Premium Membership (Small) Premium members and above may upload and store multiple photos within individual Photo Albums in their portfolio. Larger in size than regular Image Items, photos stored in an album can be up to 1024 pixels by 1024 pixels, and uploaded into the album using our drag and drop feature or 10 at a time. Photos that are too big are automatically downsized to the maximum allowable size. Once uploaded, these photos can then be linked to and embedded using WritingML (see: WritingML Help for photo).

If you are interested in checking out some Photo Albums by other members, you can find them by clicking on Browse by Type in the navigation menu under the Writing.Com logo and choosing Photo Albums.

Photo Album items are created just like any other item type on Writing.Com. There are two methods for creating and saving albums. You can select the Writing link in the navigation under the Writing.Com logo, then scroll down and click on Photo Album. Or, you can go to your Portfolio and select Create Item just below your Portfolio tab. Select Photo Album from the links that drop down. In either case, follow the instructions in the Create an Photo Album Item window.

For information about creating and editing a Photo Album, please see "Create/Edit a Photo AlbumOpen in new Window.. For information about managing albums, including adding, changing and deleting photos, please see "Manage a Photo AlbumOpen in new Window..1
