Blog Harbor Prompt #6
Prompt #6: Did you try something that did not work out? Is there a mistake you made that had significant consequences? Share one of your most memorable lessons learned.

Well, I mad at this point because I had the perfect entry, went to save it and got a technical error. I lost my entry; s***! Here we go again.

Yes, horse back riding. The first time a tried I got thrown off. I am sorry I did not get back on immediately. It may have had significant consequences because I was sore for a few days. What is it about riding on a horse that makes you feel like someone shoved you legs up into your stomach?

Horses are so big and to this day, I am scared to feed the beauties. Of course I have other fears, but never could get over that one.

When I was a kid, I played horses like a lot of kids, especially girls. I had a stick horse, played cowgirl and was very upset when my dad took my nice horse and used it in something he was building. Well, after all he did give it to me.

Teen girls have always gone gaga over horses. We drew horses, colored horses, talked horses. Guys, not so much. I wanted a horse when I was a kid. We lived on 8 acres but dad said no. He said when I grew up and got a job I could buy one. Well, I grew up, left home and forgot all about it. Just as well as living in the city they sort of frown on having horses in the city.

Still, It would be so cool to take a ride in the country on a horse. Maybe I have been watching too much Yellowstone episodes!
