A simple journey outside became the beginning of rediscovering the beauty of life. |
"I had convinced myself that I loved staying home. After long months spent within four walls, I started to believe that silence, routine, and stillness were enough for me. But these past few days, I decided to go out. Just a little. Just to see. And I found that outside… was more beautiful than I ever imagined. I walked with no clear destination, guided only by the desire to breathe something other than the stale air of my daily life. Every street corner felt new, as if the world had changed while I was away. The trees looked greener, the laughter of strangers felt deeper, and even the wind seemed to whisper forgotten things. I sat on a bench, in the sun, and watched people go by. And in that soft rush of life, I felt a peace I hadn’t felt in a long time. It wasn’t just the beauty of the outside I was rediscovering — it was a part of myself I had left behind. The part that marvels, that breathes, that lives. Little by little, I came back to life. Not far, not fast. But with an open heart. Today, I don’t regret the pause. It was necessary. But now I know there’s a world — wide, vibrant, and full of light — that was waiting for me. And most of all, I know… I was waiting too. |
