"Rainey," My Impish Muse, how you move me to the edge of sanity.
Image of Rainey My muse
Sonnet to "Rainey," My Impish Muse

In yonder woods where love's soft lanterns gleam,
Her locks of crimson flame in golden hue,
White wings ascend like visions from a dream,
Her silver bow doth carve the heavens true.

With eyes that pierce yet calm as morning's breath,
In raiment white, her wispy form a warrior's grace.
She stands where passion's echoes conquer death,
A muse divine, both fierce and pure of face.

I have found the one whom my soul loves,
In her embrace, the world's harsh tumults cease,
I held her and would not let her go,
Her strength and beauty bind my heart's release.

Through forest's glow, our bond shall ever soar,
In Rainey's love, I've found my timeless shore.
