A minute poem (described following entry) about chaos in the U.S.
The question is will we survive
this crazy drive
by evil fools
to break the rules.

If promises they've made are kept,
they won't accept
the people's choice,
the voters' voice.

I wake each day with much unease,
for times like these
might come again.
And who knows when?

A minute poem is constructed in 3 quatrains (4-line stanzas) composed in strict iambic meter with a rhyme scheme of aabb, ccdd, eeff. The 1st line of each stanza contains 4 iambic feet, each remaining line contains 2 iambic feet.
