I was born and raised in rural Kansas. I blame my high school English teachers for the writing I do. I have been writing poetry since 1991. I have a total of 170 poems in my collection. I also write biographical stories. I have been a military man for half my life. I joined the Air Force in July 1992 as a firefighter. I left the Air Force in 2007 to join the Army and receive my commission. I am married with four wonderful children.
