This 93 year old author was raised on a farm in rural Saskatchewan. At the age of eighteen he began teaching in a one room schoolhouse where he was sole teacher for grade 1 to 10. He later married and moved to Saskatoon where he taught college English for many years. In 1967 he took a sabbatical leave and moved his wife and three daughters to England for a year while he completed graduate studies at the Universiy of Leeds. He has written several short stories over the years some of which are included in his self published collection, Call of the Kew Apple, available on Amazon.ca
