Beatri travels through a different place this time. |
Beatri used to like Pop music, but after hearing some heavy metal she liked that better. She was listening to a band called ‘So Die For It’ when she noticed she was disappearing into the speakers, being dragged into them. She completely vanished and after flying on the song waves for a while, she discovered she was standing on a round dish colored green in the middle of a red ocean. She smiled with recognition, she had dreamed of this place when she was listening to ‘So Die For It’, although she wondered how she could be so lucky as to arrive here. On the green round dish she was moving towards a swarm of turquoise birds so she jumped off the dish and landed in the red water. She did not get wet. For in this place it is only the blue water that gets you wet, red is dry water. She swam towards a pole that stuck up out of the red liquid she was swimming in. When she got there she realized it was the tusk of a very big vegetarian alligator fish. “I’m very sorry,” she said,” I did not see you there.” “That’s OK, not many people do.” Replied the vegetarian alligator fish. “My name is Beatri.” She said politely, for she was always polite, no matter what state she was in or who or what she was talking to. “Nice to meet you. My name’s Quasiba.” Said the vegetarian alligator fish, “if you want to get back to where you came from, I suggest you take the wings from the top of my tusk. You’ll have to climb.” “Thank you. I will try not to hurt you.” Beatri replied. She started to climb the tusk. It did not take long and when she got the wings she heard from below, “Put them on where you are, jump off and start flapping. Go the direction up-diagonal and you’ll find your self out of here.” Quasiba said. Beatri put on the wings and she felt them come to life on her back. Before jumping off she called down, “Thank you and goodbye.” And with that she jumped and started flapping her newly gotten wings in the upward-diagonal direction. She passed the clouds and from up there she could see how beautiful it looked. She closed her eyes and felt like she was being pushed through a sheet of water and then she opened her eyes to the familiar surroundings of her room and could hear the band ‘So Die For It’ playing in the background. |
