A warning from a spouse about "losing" things.
Today, I found your wedding ring,
Tossed carelessly aside.
Yesterday, I found your keys,
They weren't even trying to hide.
Last week, I found your old gold chain,
In the back of the dresser drawer.
And your favorite blue t-shirt,
I found there the week before.
How could you lose so many things?
How forgetful can one be?
Are you so absent-minded,
you might end up losing me?
