Chronicles of Gatean: Synopsis of Prologue and Parts One and Two

Prologue:

Omistas visits the three witches in the woods beyond Peirlian (the elves woods) because he has had dreams of the future. The witches share a psychic link; one is blind, one is deaf, one is mute. They tell him that his dreams are indeed warning him of what is coming

On the way out of the woods he is stopped by a group of elves and fae. They have begun to “dim” without a ruler.

Part One: Five and the Way

Chapter One: The Savior

Micheal Marsden is a priest with an affinity for scotch. One night while writing in his journal and slightly tipsy he notices a light coming from the hallway closet. He opens the door to be blinded by bright rays of sunlight. He is pulled through the door and transported to another world.He finds himself in a desert with a strange woman. They are attacked by a giant wurm. He is weak and disoriented but tries to save her. He fails but is saved by a group of Dwarves.

Chapter Two: The Stranger

Sanjay Booker is a star athlete at his high school. After losing the homecoming game he discovers his girlfriend making out with someone else. He drives off and crashes his car ending up in a coma. He awakens in a small hut unsure of where he is. He finds himself dressed as a buffalo soldier. He wears four guns; two on his hips and two at his shoulders. He also has a rifle and two bowie knives in each boot. He is what he dreams his ideal self would be. As he tries to figure out where he is he is attacked by an elf for appearing to be a ‘dark’ elf.

Chapter Three: The Prisoner

Ben Keller is dreaming about his wife and child. He loved them. They were murdered before him. He takes the blame and is on bond before his trial. He has dreams of the night they died and he flees to the house where they were killed. There is a mist that seems to be growing out of the lake. He takes a small boat out to investigate and is sent into another world.

Chapter Four: The Lover

Derek Chato and his wife are fighting they are angry and hurtful. She opens a door and is pulled through into another world. At the same time she is pulled through a journal comes out. He opens the door after it closes to find only a closet. After reading the journal he visits his shaman uncle. He learns of the gateways from this world into another. One of the gateways is through the burial ground on the
reservation.

Chapter Five: The Hunter

John Roble is a bounty hunter. He and his partner are chasing a bond jumper named Ben Keller. As they follow his trail they find the body of a dead woman. Upon closer examination she appears to be an elf. When the reach Ben’s house his partner attacks him. In the fight the partner is killed and he finds a strange necklace on the ground. As he picks it up he is transported to another world where he is attacked. He is saved by a satyr like creature with the head of a ram.
