Poem describing the gift of death
God has given you a gift,
The gift of wings.
Wings to fly away.
Away from the pain.
Away from a body turning on itself.
Wings to soar to your God.
To reunite with your family
Waiting with open arms.
Please don't look back during your flight.
Those of us left here will remember.
Remember your radiant smile in the sun's rays.
Your laughter we will always hear on the wind.
Wait for us when our turn comes.
When we are given our gift of wings.
