3 eight-line stanzas
She stands alone
And watches him
Thinking of
What could have been
If just only
She'd opened her heart
Instead of closing
And broke apart.

He walks around
Like he don't care
But deep inside
It ain't fair
Now she's lonely
By herself
Knows he can make her
Better herself.

They come together
Life in a lie
Hiding their feelings
Making them die
Seeing each other
Day after day
Knowing the love
They can't say.
