HOW I FEEL EVERYDAY
THE WINE
Here I am again, crying my tears
To a world that never cried for me.
Bittersweet pain wrapped around
Fantastic confusion clouds my thoughts.
It’s not about rhyming, but about feeling.
Take me away I beg but no answer is received.
Take my sweet pain, drink it with me,
Share your passion and fill me up another cup.
Oh! Such a bitter taste, it’s almost unbearable.
Down my throat, straight into my heart
Corroding every single healthy cell on its way.
Falling, falling so inebriated my body is numb.
It’s not about rhyming, but about feeling.
So bring your bottle and share.
Back to back balance we will find,
And finding is the key.
Let us sleep then and open our eyes.
No headache, no heartache,
Just a sweet aftertaste.
Look in the mirror, what do you see?
Drunkenness in your subservient twin,
Fire in the windows of your soul.
Why try to act sober,
If your pain makes you, you?
It’s not about rhyming, but about feeling.
So hold my hand and lead my way
For two drunks should not step a step alone.
